How do I order?

I currently open for orders on specific days once a month. Please check my website homepage or my Instagram for announcements on when I will be taking orders. Once they are sold out, they will be sold out until the next launch. 

On launch days, I open for orders at 9am PST. At that time, portraits will be restocked on my site and you can checkout. They do sell out quickly, so best to set an alarm! Your order isn't fully placed until you reach the confirmation page.

How do you receive my photos?

I will send out an email within 48 hours of your order for all your details and photos. Please respond within a few days with your photos. If you need more time to gather photos, please let me know! 

What are the best photos to send?

High quality, straight on or side photos work best. Remember, the more details your photo has, the more details your portrait will have. Photos taken from above and from below can affect the proportions of the art. 

Can I add my pets fur to the portrait?

An add on option to have your pets fur in your portrait is now available. Please select that on the website when checking out.

What is your turnaround time?

Turnaround time is approximately 6 weeks. Each portrait is custom made and takes time to complete. 

Do I see my portrait before it ships out?

No. I like to keep an element of surprise for when it arrives! Unfortunately, photos of the portraits just don't look the same as what they do in real life! It is hard to see the true colouring and details. If you do wish to see a photo of your portrait before shipping, please let me know and I can be sure to send one!

Can my portrait be changed from a frame to a hoop and vice versa afterwards?

Once your portrait is finished in a hoop there is no way to change it back as it is sewn into place. A portrait finished in a frame can potentially be changed to a hoop. Sometimes the felted area is too big to fit into my hoops. If this is requested, shipping fees and materials costs will be at the customers expense. 

My framed portrait has little bubbles in the fabric. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes! When I send them off they are all nicely applied to the backing with no bubbles. During the shipping process or over time you may notice the fabric lifts from the backing close to the felted part. This is no worries at all. Simply push/smooth the fabric back down. The fabric is applied to a sticky board and sometimes near the felted area it just needs a few extra little pushes to stick back!

Do you do returns/refunds?

If I have not started your portrait yet, a refund can be applied. I will automatically refund your order if I have not received photos or heard from you through email within 72 hours. If your portrait arrives damaged or you are unhappy with the finished result please contact me.

Shipping

I currently ship within Canada and the USA.

Side profiles and straight on pictures work great! These are all examples of acceptable photos.

Photos must be bright and in a natural lighting.

Photos taken from above or below are unfortunately not great. The proportions appear to be off and don't look great afterwards.

Photos also need to be of good lighting to see your pets details. Photos overly edited with filters will change the true colour of your pets fur.

Photos of old photos will not be accepted! Unfortunately it is too hard to see the pets details.
